Thank you: Bill Henniger & ROGUE FITNESS.
If you were at the 2013 Fittest Games, you probably noticed the absolutely insane amount of equipment we had on hand. You can thank Rogue Fitness for that. These people are: Professionals. Experts. Logistical Assassins. They operate like a well-oiled military regiment, and they GSD.
Everyone in the CrossFit world knows Rogue. They are the official equipment sponsor of the Reebok CrossFit Games and the largest supplier of fitness equipment in the USA (I think?). They also outfit almost every box I have been to. They are awesome.
From the day when they decided to take part as a sponsor in our event until the last day of cleanup (this past Monday) – Rogue Fitness proved to me why they are the best at what they do. I had weekly, if not daily, e-mail or phone contact with their staff to ensure that we had all the equipment we wanted and needed and to make sure we had it when we needed it.
Everything we asked for, they provided. They even sent us some things we had not asked for, but ended up needing crucially (impact drills, anyone?). They sent chalk and chalk buckets, towels and disinfectant – and some other little goodies that ended up being necessary to the setup and execution of our event.
They were in constant contact with us throughout the buildout of the 10-person, 60 ft. rig to make sure we were setting it up according to their exact specifications. For Rogue, safety is first – and we could not agree more. They sent us pictures, diagrams and step-by-step instructions on how to set it up and also looked at photos that we sent them to give us feedback on how we were doing.
Long story short, thank you to Rogue. Without you, the 2013 Fittest Games would not have had the “finished, polished, professional” look that it did. You guys and gals are a class act and the best in the business.
Special thanks to Adam Ewart and Kris Warner for their suggestions, advice, guidance and help throughout. I don’t think we could have done it without you two.
