Week 5 Training: 13.08.07

A. Strength 

Back Squat – E3M – Stay on the Clock

6@65 – 6@75 – 2×6@80

Front Squat – E2M – Stay on the Clock

5@60 – 5@65 – 2×5@70

NOTES: Positioning, positioning, positioning.

B. Skill

EMOM X 10: 10 Double Unders + 2 Muscle Ups

NOTES: You have 30 seconds to complete the DU and the MU. At 30 seconds, stop where you are and rest for the next 30 seconds. 

C. 5 rounds for both TIME and REPS:

-200m Sprint
-ME Pullups
-Rest 2:1 (Rest:Work)

NOTES: The 200m Sprint is a… Sprint. All-out. ME Pullups means once you get on the bar your set starts. Once you come off the bar, your set ends. Rest is as follows: If a round takes you 1 minute to complete, you will rest for exactly 2 minutes.

    B) Scaled to 1 MU EMOM– failed three of them. Damn muscle ups!
    C) Forgot my watch :-/ Went off everyone else’s timing. Pull ups were 21/10/11/8/10
    Jeebus, harder than I thought.

    B) 10 DU + 1 MU + 1 attempt at a chain (almost got a double)
    C) 15:21 (62 pullups) 12/12/12/12/14 (butterfly went from 10->4, but they are getting much more comfortable and consistent, worked on moving straight from the run to the bar w/o rest)
    D) Jane Fondas (30 sec) – Doneski’s

    Still way below all my %’s, but happy and grateful to be back under the bar. Thanks to all you guys and girls for pushing me today!

    B. DU/MU Skill Work: 100% – No misses.

    C. 36 – 22 – 21 – 22 – 23 = 124.
    Total time was about 22:30. Runs were slow. Knee felt good squatting, but weak and awkward running.
