That winner needs to be tested. Saw her at comp a year ago, was built, but wasnt that “full” and stuggled with much lighter weight then posted at athlete open. Not sure where she trains, but her coach should say something to her. Winchester you know the signs bro, not sure why you’d promote her. She’s David Boston swole.

    • Max says:

“If someone isn’t what others want them to be, the others become angry. Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own.”
      ― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

      • Sam says:

Has nothing to do with wants to be, has to do with cheating, honor of doing things the right way. Dont care how others choose to live their lives, but dont be upset when you are called out and have no rebuttal. This person does not affect me in any way just diminishes a sport I compete in and thing is a great form of exercise.

      • Max says:

…… and making asumptions about someone else’s life in the comments section of a blog is an amazing way to defend the sport you so deeply care for. You are a shining example of what we should all aspire to be …… Thank you for gracing us with your comments, we are unworthy.

I would like to encourage you to spread your moral crusade to other blog comment sections as well …… Others need to experience the glory and truth that is Sam.

    • Harris says:

He promotes her because she is an amazing athlete and dedicated to his programming. The way she looks is a direct result of her training……not from an assumption of someone else’s perception because she looks “out of the norm” (dare I say that fit women look different….oh no….) “The primary morphological adaptations involve an increase in the cross-sectional area of the whole muscle and individual muscle fibres, which is due to an increase in myofibrillar size and number” (Folland JP, William AG 2007) #rantover #gotoschool

      • Sam says:

Funny the way she looks is a result of her programming? Ingrid, Karen, C. Ross, Estrada, Jaime… none of them made those gains and they follow the same program. Those are all fit women who “look outside the norm” but are younger, highly dedicated athletes not making those gains? I guess Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, and Marion Jones all hit their prime at 36 too. Has nothing to do with muscle fibers; bone structure, mass gains and cheating. Every athlete at any level can easily prove innocents provide a test. Bonds, A-rod have the money and time to get tested but knew they couldnt pass, therefore hide behind lawyers and scandles. Even Fronning wont say “test me”. He’ll say he gets tested, he’ll say he doesn’t, but he wont do a public test and xfit wont push it either.

      • Sam- They do not all follow the same program.

To say that a population of athletes are going to get the same physiological result from an exercise program is like saying that every apple from the apple tree will be the same. We, as individuals, are physiologically unique. Set from the start, we are all going to have different reactions to the stress that’s placed upon us. Meaning, you and I may do the exact same workout at the exact same weight with the exact same intensity and yet still we will have different reactions to the stress that’s placed on us (albeit there will be plenty of similarities as well).
Yes, there are plenty of highly dedicated athletes who are making similar gains. Lets take a look at the macro instead of the micro.
Yes I agree whole hearted that every athletes’ innocents can be proven with a test. So what is your’ solution to the problem?Yes, this is all about “muscle fibers; bone structure, mass gains and cheating”. If it was not then why would we be discussing this?
Barry and Rodriguez live in a different world than we simpletons do. Their actions can swing millions if not billions of dollars. Here is some math for you: Rodriguez is paid about $40K per at bat. That’s about $120-$140K (yes, that’s thousand folks) per inning. With that kind of money, you bet I would be trying to ink out every bit of athletic ability of my body as possible. Am I trying to justify their actions as to why they took performance enhancing drugs? Nope. And I guarantee that there are many other athletes in other sports that take similar products. But that is the nature of the game; athletes are trying to survive in a competitive environment where money, not athletic ability, is king. Comparing professional athletes to every day joes such as myself is pretty impractical.

I do not know Judy, never met her. All I know is from what I’ve heard in the community. Her background as an athlete, former deadlift champ, is quite impressive. And now that she has focused her training with Winchesters’ programming, she is becoming a pretty good ‘competitive exerciser’.

What would having the winner of the Athlete Open tested do?
What compelled you to post on this blog with the intention of accusation anyways?

  17. Max says:

    A) Done @ 115#
    B) 230 …… Had to go to work so I did this at home after work (not the best environment, but such is life) ….. Y’all made this look much easier than it was ….. KBS ate my lunch and forearms
