Notes: I know, I know. You hate me right now. Good. That’s my job. I’m here to give you what you need, not what you want. While this might be one of the more “boring” or “simple” Open WODs in the history of the Open… This is a perfect time to learn. About what? you ask… Well, about yourself. What is your reaction to this WOD? If negative, you’re already missing the fucking point. This is the WOD – a WOD – it’s what happening. ACCEPT IT. Don’t bitch about it. Make a plan and take action on how you’re going to beat your score from 2012. This is a test, nothing more, nothing less. Your goal is to win. What will you do to win? What will your pace be? Where will you put your hands? What will your target be? How will you warm up? What music will you listen to? When will you take your supplements? What clothes will you wear? There is no time to question Coach or to hesitate. Observe, Orient, Decide, Act. Practice being the athlete you want to be — the kind that wins in any and all situations.
