T.J. Antell.  In Memoriam.

Unfortunately, I never got to meet T.J. face to face. We corresponded over the course of several weeks to coordinate Mino’s Hakuna Matata event last Fall, and from everything I could tell, this was one hell of a dude with a huge heart and a willingness to help others.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing today. A fellow coach, CrossFitter and box owner of CrossFit Abattoir, my thoughts go out to his family and three children during this time.

There aren’t words that can describe this kind of loss, experienced in this kind of way. This world and this life can be unexplainably cruel, unfair and fucked. T.J. saw something that was wrong and tried to make it right. For that, he paid the ultimate price.

Thank you for leading from the front. 

A true Sheepdog. You will be missed.

Min 3: 15 Toes to Bar

Coach’s Notes: If you cannot complete the requisite number of reps within the minute, move on to the next movement.
